Pilgrimage and Temples
From Char Dham to shrines few travellers ever find, every step of the planning is ours to carry.

From well known shrines to the quiet ones, here’s what we cover.

Four shrines on one circuit — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, taken in the order the mountains allow. Eleven days, paced so each dham gets a morning rather than a stop.

Kedarnath and Badrinath in one circuit. The two Himalayan dhams, for travellers who have the days for a pilgrimage but not the fortnight.

Sixteen kilometres on foot to a twelfth-century shrine below the Kedarnath peak. Walk it, or fly the last leg and save your legs for the temple steps.

The last village before Tibet. Vishnu’s seat at Badrinath, the hot springs at Tapt Kund, and the caves at Mana an easy walk beyond.

The Yamuna’s source, reached by a six-kilometre climb through the gorge, where pilgrims still cook rice in the hot spring at the top.

The Ganga’s seat at Gangotri, with Harsil’s deodar forest and apple orchards an hour below — the quiet half of the Char Dham road.
