The Journey Begins

The road to the Char Dham doesn’t rush you – it asks you to slow down. Mountain air sharpens with every valley, temple bells carry further than they should, and the Mandakini, Bhagirathi, Alaknanda rivers trace a path older than memory. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath each arrive in their own time, each demanding a different kind of presence. This is a journey measured less in kilometers, more in moments of stillness.

Highlights

  • Guided meditation sessions overlooking the Mandakini valley.
  • Exclusive access to premium Himalayan eco-lodges.
  • Special evening Aarti experience at the Kedarnath Temple.

Common Questions

How many days is the Char Dham Yatra?

The full circuit is planned as 10 Nights / 11 Days, arriving in Haridwar on day one and returning on day eleven.

Which are the four Char Dham shrines, and in what order?

Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, visited in that traditional order. The itinerary follows it — Yamunotri on day three, Gangotri on day five, Kedarnath on days seven and eight, Badrinath on day nine, with Mana village on day ten.

How difficult is the Char Dham Yatra?

It is graded moderate. The demands are the mountain roads, the altitude and the walk to Kedarnath rather than technical difficulty, and the pace is planned around them.

When can the Char Dham Yatra be done?

The shrines open for a season each year and are closed through the winter. Opening and closing dates are announced annually by the temple committees, so we confirm the window with you when you plan rather than publishing a fixed date here.

What is included in the Char Dham Yatra?

Private homestay accommodation, meals during the trek, an expert local guide and support staff, transport throughout the journey, and all applicable permits and taxes. Flights or trains to Dehradun, personal travel insurance, and personal expenses and tips are not included.

Can I do only one or two of the Dhams?

Yes. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri are each planned as journeys in their own right, and Do Dham pairs two of them. Customisation is an important part of the Svvayam experience — we can modify the duration, stays, transportation, activities, pace, and experiences based on your interests and travel preferences.
